- Three-day derby over Labor Day weekend with weigh-ins. Prizes: heaviest salmon of the derby $500, heaviest coho $300, heaviest salmon of the day $150, smallest legal salmon $100, mystery weight $150, plus drawings and raffle. Coho retention differs by water: fin-clipped and wild coho in the ocean, fin-clipped only in the Umpqua River.
