Format: Catch and release only, from beach or boat in Nantucket inshore waters. Starts when the first sea-run striped bass is landed and runs four weeks. Individual prizes for first fish, longest and shortest bass, weekly largest bass and first bluefish, plus raffle points; three-member team scoring by summed best bass lengths. Lengths judged to the nearest quarter inch with a tape in the photo.
